Our Team Members
Karen joined the practice in 2011 after working locally for many years. She became clinical director in 2018 – and now works twice as many hours per week as she did when she joined due to the practice’s growth! She is an active part of the local community and is often found cheering on her sporty sons. She also enjoys cooking, reading and walking long distances.
Senior Veterinary Nurse
Yasmin joined the team in 2016 after working for a practice in Oxford. She loves the variety in the role, and particularly enjoys helping inpatients to recover and keeping in touch with clients through nurse clinics. At home she has Riley the dog and two cats, George and Ronnie. With a husband and a young son, Yasmin has very little free time but likes to spend her spare time reading or on long dog walks.
Practice Manager and Head Receptionist
Pauline worked as a veterinary nurse before moving to New Zealand, where she lived happily for nine years. She returned to the UK in 2012 and joined team Court. She shares her home with Tui the cocker spaniel and Gino, a bonkers Maine coon cross. Her spare time is spent with her family at motorbike trials and enjoying scrap-booking and other paper crafts.
Apprentice Animal Nursing Assistant
Mollie is a true local lass, having been born, schooled and living in the area. Mollie started her apprenticeship in October 2022 and hopes to continue to her Veterinary Nursing qualifications. In her spare time, Mollie milks the cows on a local farm, waitresses in a pub, look after her horse and three sheep and loves riding when she can.
Nicky joined the team in 2021 and loves being part of our great team. She has no pets of her own at the moment, but makes up for it with all of the pets in the practice. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, going to the theatre, watching cricket and socialising with friends and family. She is also learning sign language and hopes to travel with her partner.
Caroline initially joined the team in 2014 and rejoined in 2021. She has also worked in a doctor’s surgery and has decided she prefers working with animals! Her tiny dachsund, Peggy, accompanies her to work most days. She enjoys long walks, holidays by the sea, singing in the kitchen and socialising with friends and family.
